“I am not sure how to explain everything that has happened to me since 2015 when I received the diagnosis of MS and the news of my pregnancy (on the same day).
The neurologist told me then that I could not breastfeed and that I had to go through some steroid sessions throughout pregnancy and postpartum. It was all very limiting, very different from what I had imagined for my life.
And then, researching, I found about the Coimbra Protocol. So many doubts, so many fears, so many “nos” that I heard from the neurologists I went, until I saw that I had no alternative but to try, and I tried, my family and I trusted this treatment and its proposal.
And you wanna know how it has been since 2015? Great pregnancy, beautiful, quiet, incredible birth, safe, postpartum without steroids, I breastfed 4 hours after delivery (for a year and a half), have lived all stages of maternal life, my baby now is 3 years old. And you wanna know more? 4 years later I am in my second pregnancy, a beautiful pregnancy already in the 8th month, beautiful, safe, I also want to breastfeed again and live all this and much more ...
